The Profitability Coaching Program has helped over a thousand Dentrix practices. We often hear customers say they know they are under-using the software and there are probably easier ways to do things. The coaching program goes beyond training to ensure your practice is using all the available tools in Dentrix to streamline daily practice workflow. Together, we look for opportunities in your schedule, continuing care, case acceptance, insurance and collections management, and patient and referral management—and discuss going paperless and other ways to enhance your already-successful practice.
It is difficult for a practice to shut down the office to learn more about its practice management system, so we built the program realizing we needed to find ways to help dental practices without affecting their daily production. For that reason, each coaching session lasts about an hour. This allows you to work the coaching calls around your patient schedule. Calls can be scheduled before you begin seeing patients, during your lunch hour or during a slower afternoon. Not to mention, we’ve found that smaller time increments help you retain what you learn. Have you ever attended an eight-hour seminar and by the afternoon started to experience the law of diminishing returns?
Customers that invest the time to go through coaching sessions see a huge return on their time investment. Your coach will help you evaluate how things are being done in your practice and why they are done that way. Key Performance Indicators
Our coaching program is closely tied to the key performance indicators that drive efficiencies and profitability. The program has seven coaching sessions, which include: Key Performance Indicators and Key Reports, Insurance and Collections, Continuing Care, Schedule Optimization, Patient and Referral Management, Case Acceptance and Tips on Going Paperless.
While all seven sessions have specific gems that will help your practice, we have found that starting with Key Performance Indicators and Key Reports is a great way to identify strengths and opportunities within the practice. We first review the Practice Advisor Report. This report will help us evaluate how your practice is doing when it comes to production, collections, continuing care, case acceptance and patient and referral management. We then have a more flexible curriculum that allows us to review how you’re using Dentrix in each of these key areas.
