What is the Cancellation Policy if
I can’t attend?
All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellation notices may be emailed
to cancel@henryschein.com or faxed to 801-847-3650. We will send you an email confirmation
to let you know that we have received your cancellation. If you do not receive a
response from us within 24 hours (or 1 business day) please call us at 1-800-Dentrix
to verify that we have received your cancellation notice.
There is no cancellation fee if your written notice is received at least one business
day before the start of the seminar. No refunds will be issued for same-day cancellations
or no-shows. Note: you may substitute another person in your place at no charge.
Do I get Continuing Education credits?
CE credits are not awarded for Insight Seminars. Please see our hands-on workshops
if you need to receive CE credits for your class.
What version of Dentrix will be used
at the seminar?
Seminars are always taught with the most current version of Dentrix. The current
seminars will use Dentrix G5.
I have never used Dentrix before
but want to learn. What options do I have?
We recommend that those who have never used Dentrix before start with the Dentrix
Learning Edition. It includes a DVD with a limited use version of Dentrix that you
can install on your computer, and a manual and online tutorials to teach you the
basics of the program. The Dentrix Learning Edition sells for about $50 and can
be ordered from our sales department by calling 1-800-Dentrix.

Do I need to bring anything to the
seminar?
We will provide a kit with handouts and a pen for note taking. You may bring other
materials for note-taking if you wish but nothing else is necessary.
Will I have a computer to use?
There are no computers at the Insight Seminars.
Is lunch provided?
Light snacks will be provided for break times, but lunch is not provided.
What hotels are close by?
We have not designated any particular hotels for seminar participants. If you wish
to ask the staff at the seminar facility for recommendations, go to the Dates and
Locations page and click on the city name where you wish to attend, and the facility’s
contact information will be displayed. You may also go to an online hotel booking
site and enter the training facility’s address to see what options are nearby.
Is it better to go to a seminar
or have in-office training?
Both options have their advantages. Seminars allow participants to leave the distractions
of the office and focus on what they need to learn. You will also be able to interact
with other Dentrix users and will receive handouts that you can use as a reference.
In-office training allows you to customize the topics you learn and doesn't require
travel, but it does generally require that everyone shares the same computer screen.
