Available now, with new customer requested features including:

  • 2-Way SMS functionality that allows patients to confirm their appointments by responding to text message reminders. Text message confirmations are automatically updated in the Dentrix Appointment Book.
  • Customized text messages – The front office can choose a pre-written text message reminder or create a customized text message reminder. This allows the front office to unique messages that could even include marketing messaging.
  • Text message opt-out report allows the front office to see which patients have opted out of future text messages. The report provides opt-out date, patient name, appointment date/time and phone number. This makes it easy to identify patients that will need to be contacted manually or that need to learn more about the benefits of receiving a text message reminder.
  • Text message details are displayed patient-by-patient in Appointment Manager. This allows team members working remotely to see if a patient has confirmed an appointment, without going into the office.
  • Text message statistics – The front office staff can view reports on the number of patients that have confirmed an appointment from a text message, as well as the number of patients that have opted out. This allows the office to see the effectiveness of the service and even calculate the time savings based on typical confirmation calls.

The eCentral Appointment Manager allows you to manage appointments more efficiently than ever. From one Web page you can send all or selected patients an email appointment reminder to reduce missed appointments. You can also update patient insurance eligibility status in just minutes with the click of a button. The Appointment Manager is available to practices subscribing to the Communication Manager. Some functionality requires subscriptions to the Insurance and Web Site Managers.
