Instructions for downloading and installing eSync for Dentrix G4

- Install .NET 3.5 Framework Service Pack 1.
You will be linked to Microsoft's website to download this application. You will need to install .NET 3.5 SP1.
Download .NET 3.5 SP1
- Disable your anti-virus software.
Anti-virus software can cause software installs to fail.
- Download eSync Software.
Save the install file on your computer. Note the location of the saved file for steps 4 and 5.
Download eSync Software
- Install the eSync Server.
You will be prompted to enter your customer ID. Make sure your ID is entered correctly.
Important Note: It is recommended that you install the eSync software on the same server as your Dentrix database. However, if your database server does not have constant Internet connectivity, the eSync server will need to be installed on a different computer that does have constant internet connectivity. In this scenario, the eSync client software (typically installed on each workstation) will need to be installed on the database server. You will be prompted to enter your customer ID. Make sure your ID is entered correctly.
- Install the eSync Client.
Install the client on each workstation that is going to use eSync.
You will be prompted to enter your customer ID.
Make sure your ID is entered correctly.
- Enable your anti-virus software.
Enable your anti-virus software to continue protecting your system.
