PowerPay 5.0 Now Available!
In addition to meeting the latest Visa and Mastercard PCI data security standards, PowerPay 5.0 has a host of other new features including:
- Windows 7 64-bit compatible so customers using the latest systems can benefit from PowerPay
- Credit card information automatically populates with the swiping of the credit card for faster payment setup and lower transaction fees
- Credit card verification information is pre-populated with data from the Dentrix database for faster payment setup
- Copies of receipts and consents can now be posted to the document center for easier retrieval
- Improved reporting indicates whether transactions were manually entered or swiped for a better understanding of transaction fees
- User access security features improve administrative control, user accountability and patient security
- Customized messages can be added to receipt footers to communicate marketing messages or special offers
Upgrade Information
The exciting new features and heightened security standards in PowerPay 5.0 have made it a much anticipated release. As such, our priority is to get current customers upgraded PowerPay 5.0 as quickly as possible.
However, PowerPay 5.0 is more intensive than previous upgrades. Current customers are encouraged to install PowerPay
5.0 with the assistance of the eServices Technical Support Department to ensure proper installation and setup.
PowerPay 5.0 also requires a hardware upgrade for those customers using Ingenico pin-pad devices. An exchange program
with the various hardware options has been created to facilitate the process. Magnetic card swipe devices will not need to be upgraded.
To help ensure that the appropriate resources are available to assist with the implementation process, the PowerPay 5.0 software
is shipping to current customers as part of a phased release. Information on the hardware exchange program and obtaining installation
assistance is included in the shipment.
Color Screen Device Integration!
The Ingenico 6580 color screen pin-pad device is integrated with PowerPay and allows
for customized backgrounds to reinforce practice branding.
