Before you call DENTRIX, we recommend you have certain information available to help the technician with your question.

Please have all this information available, even though it may not be required for each call:

  1. Computer Specifications: speed, amount of memory, hard drive size (you may want to tape this information on each monitor for quick reference)
  2. If it's a printing question, printer model and printer driver being used (found from the Office Manager menu bar, File|Setup Printer)
  3. If you received an error message, have the exact error message and number (Dentrix error messages usually consist of two numbers, such as "4 52")
  4. Whether the station you are on is a workstation or the server and/or print server
  5. Have you tried the general troubleshooting steps published in this section?
